Shakila has 5 sisters! She is the third born. Her oldest sister is 21 years old, and her youngest was born in December of 2023. She is the only one at Hope Haven, where she started in September of 2022 when the secondary campus opened.  Both of her parents are at home with the family.  Her father is a driver, and her mother is a farmer.  They live in the Northern province; it takes her 3 hours to travel home on a bus from Kigali.  In her free time, Shakila likes to sing.  She is on one of the praise teams at Hope Haven.  Her favorite food is chips (French fries) and rice.
