Gatesi Ineza Neilla, the youngest of four siblings, comes from a hardworking yet struggling family. Her father, a soldier, is often away, leaving her mother to shoulder most of the household responsibilities. To pay for Neilla’s school fees, her mother works at Hope Haven, despite still recovering from a motorbike accident that left her with dislocated bones. Unable to work as energetically as before, her mother uses her creativity to recycle items like water bottles, jerrycans, and boxes into beautiful decorations and useful materials. The family faces significant challenges, including a lack of water, but her mother remains resilient and prays for the capital to turn her artistic talents into a sustainable business.
