Deborah is a quiet and humble girl. While in class, she enjoys drawing and coloring. On the playground, she enjoys playing on the swings with her friends. Her favorite animal is a hen. Deborah lives with both parents and one sister, who also attends Hope Haven.  Deborah comes from a poor family. For work, her parents work in the gardens of others or work as porters on construction sites. Her father also serves in the farming fields at Hope Haven as a way of paying school fees. The family rents a small mud house.
