Juru Samuel is a humble and quiet boy. In the classroom he enjoys coloring and drawing. On the playground, Samuel loves playing with balls. Dogs are his favorite animal. Samuel lives with his parents and two older sisters who also attend Hope Haven. Samuel comes from a poor family. Neither of the parents have a profession or regular job. They will accept any kind of physical labor such as gardening and construction to earn a living. They live in a small mud house which they rent. Samuel's mother also serves at Hope Haven in the farming fields as an alternative way of helping to cover school fees.
