Raissa is a very humble, social girl who likes her friends at school. Her family lives in the community.  She lives with both of her parents and two siblings. She attends Hope Haven with her sister Uwamahoro Carine. They are blessed with responsible parents who take good care of them, though they are struggling. The father runs a small business where they earn a meager living. Their mother serves at Hope Haven as an alternative way of paying their school fees. Raissa enjoys reading her Bible in her free time.  In the future, she wants to be a doctor so that she can help take care of sick people.
