Niyogusa Emeline is a quiet and humble girl. While in class, Emeline enjoys leaning literacy and coloring. Outside the classroom, Emeline can be seen playing with a ball or playing on swings. Her favorite color is yellow, and she loves pigs. Emeline lives with her parents and one older sister, Uwase Fiona, who also attends Hope Haven. Emeline comes from a poor family but luckily, her mom recently got a job at Hope Haven as a cleaner. Her father sells sugarcanes on a street to supplement his wife's monthly income. The mother also serves in the school farming fields as an alternative way of paying school fees. The family rents a home around the school community.
