Kelia is a smart and happy girl. While in class, she loves drawing and coloring. On the playground, she loves singing and playing with her friends. She loves cows. She lives with her parents and one older brother who attends public school. Her parents both earn a small income for the family through gardening and construction. This is their only means of income to provide  food, pay rent and provide other needs for their family. Her mother also serves at Hope Haven in the farming fields as an alternative way of paying school fees.
