Umutoniwase Esther is a sharp and clever girl. Her favorite learning areas in class are literacy and drawing. Outside the classroom, Esther can be seen playing with a ball or playing with toys. Her favorite color is yellow, and a cow is her favorite animal. Esther is blessed with a family of both parents and two brothers. One brother goes to a public school while the other is too young to start school. Esther comes from a humble family. Neither of her parents have a profession. Her father provides any occasional labor available in the community like gardening and working as a porter on construction sites.  Her mother vendors vegetables on the street as the primary  source of family income to pay rent for the small mud house where they live, and provide meals and other needs. The mother also occasionally serves in Hope Haven farming fields as an alternative way of paying school fees.
