Uwamahoro Carine is a sharp and happy girl. While in class, Carine enjoys learning numbers and rhymes. Outside the class, Carine can be seen playing with friends on the swings. Carine stays with her parents and 2 elder sisters. One of her sisters, Kamikaze Raissa, also goes to Hope Haven while the other sister attends another local school. Both her parents are very poor. The mom serves in Hope Haven's farming fields as a way of paying school fees for Carine and Raissa. Their father operates a small shop.
