Laurent has 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He is the third born, and the only one at Hope Haven where he started in the fall of 2022 when the secondary campus opened. His siblings attend other schools. Both of his parents are at home. His father is a mason, and his mother sells goods at the market.  They live in Kigali.  In his free time, he likes to play the piano, and he plays for chapel services at Hope Haven.  His favorite food is rice and chips (French fries).
