Douce is a smart, hardworking girl in class where her favorite activity is drawing.  Douce's favorite color is green,  her favorite subject is English. In the future she would like to become a doctor. She comes from a struggling family of both parents and four children, three of whom attend Hope Haven. They rent a home in the nearby community; the parents perform farming work to earn a living. The children like attending Hope Haven, and their parents are so proud of how they behave and perform in class.
