Emmanuel is joyful and smart boy. He enjoys writing and drawing. He also loves dancing. He is an only child and lives with both parents. He comes from a poor family where neither of his parents have a profession. They both provide any casual labor available in the community. His mother also works in Hope Haven's farming fields as an alternative way of paying for school fees. They live in a small mud house in which they rent.
