Gad is a smart and quiet boy. Gad comes from a family that consists of both parents, one older brother and one younger brother. His older brother Irakoze Elisa also attends Hope Haven and his mother, Leah, has been a cook in the primary school kitchen since 2015. His father drives a motor bike and helps to earn money for the family by giving rides to locals. They live in a house they own close to Hope Haven.
