Teta Reina is a happy girl. While in class, she enjoys drawing and coloring. On the playground, she loves playing on the swings with her friends. Her favorite animal is a hen. She lives with her parents and two older sisters, who both attend a nearby public school. She comes from a poor family. Neither of her parents have a profession. They work for others gardening or portering on construction sites and earn very little money.  They struggle to buy food, pay rent for the mud house they live in, and provide other basic needs for their family. Reina's mother also occasionally serves at Hope Haven in the farming fields as an alternative way of paying school fees.
