Dany Bless is a sharp and smart boy. While in class, Bless loves math and drawing. His favorite color is orange, and he loves playing hide and seek. Bless comes from a poor family of both parents and two other young siblings. The family lives in a  small mud house which they own.  His parents provide any available unskilled labor like gardening and working  on construction sites as a porter. His mother also serves in the school garden as an alternative way of paying school fees.
