Tuyishime Emmanuel is a quiet and smart boy. While in class, Emmanuel loves learning literacy and drawing. Outside the classroom, Emmanuel can be seen playing with a soccer ball. He also loves helping wash utensils while at home. His favorite color is yellow, and a sheep is his favorite animal. Emmanuel comes from a family of his parents, two sisters and,  one brother. All the siblings go to nearby public schools. Emmanuel comes from a poor family.  His parents own a small piece of land which they use to grow crops for food and sell when there is a surplus.  His mother is among the mothers who serve in the school gardens as an alternative way of paying school fees.
