Samuel is a smart and playful boy who loves learning numbers and drawing in class. He loves dogs and playing on the swings in his free time. He is the second youngest of nine children. Three of his siblings; Ingabire Daine, Inezayimana Gloria, and Akimana Nadine also attend Hope Haven. Samuel comes from a poor family. His father works as a cleaner at Hope Haven and his mother is a housewife. Both parents serve at Hope Haven's farming fields as an alternative way for paying for school fees for their four children. The family owns a three bedroom home.
